We understand that visiting a new church can often be an intimidating experience. When new folks visit our church, we want them to be at ease! Your first visit to Frederick Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for the whole family. We want you to enjoy the revival music, Bible preaching, interactive children’s classes, helpful adult Bible classes, and a place where you can truly feel “right at home”.
Here at FBC, you can expect to find a warm and inviting atmosphere, combined with a sincere desire to grow in Christ. During any one of our services, you will enjoy uplifting, revival congregational music, along with heartfelt specials by many of our members. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Seay. Each of our services are approximately an hour in length. Also, during the 10:00 AM hour on Sunday mornings, there are Sunday school and Bible classes for every age group.
What about my children and teens?
Our youth ministries are focused on presenting young people with the Gospel, then cultivating that in their lives through the services of our church. We believe there must be a balanced exposure of both age-specific services/activities as well as worshiping and serving with the entire church family. FBC is dedicated to helping children and teens grow in Christ and develop sincere love for God and others.

Are there nurseries available?
We take much care for the children and their well-being here at FBC. Their safety is our top priority! Our nurseries are deep cleaned (with every toy being sanitized) twice a week. We follow and exceed the state of Maryland requirements for cleanliness in a childcare facility. The nursery workers have all undergone background checks and are all active members of our church. We have a reliable, yet simple, sign in and out process which will put your mind at ease while your children are secure in our care. We want you and your child's experience to be as pleasant as possible and we hope to see your family very soon! Please contact the church office if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!
There is not a dress code at FBC for our members or guests. Our ministry leadership and many in our church family dress in a more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main desire is that you would feel welcome and comfortable during your visit here.
